By accessing or using TaskLeef ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

2. Description of Service

TaskLeef is a task and project management platform that provides:

  • Task creation and management with subtasks, priorities, and due dates
  • Kanban board visualization and workflow management
  • Team collaboration features including board sharing and comments
  • AI-powered productivity assistance
  • API access for integrations

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Subscription and Billing

TaskLeef offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

  • Billing occurs monthly or annually based on your selected plan
  • Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers

Prices may change with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate until their next renewal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service for spam or unsolicited communications
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TaskLeef and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TASKLEEF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Is harmful to other users or third parties
  • Is harmful to our business interests

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may export your data before termination or contact us within 30 days after termination to request a data export.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
